BALLET ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS

All Ballet classes require a high bun, complete with pins and a hairnet. Dancers are expected to be fully prepared with their own supplies before entering class. GDS will not provide hair ties, pins, etc.. to any dancers who arrive without their hair supplies. A hair kit will need to be purchased from GDS for a fee.

All Ballet attire is available for purchase locally at Beam and Barre.

 PRE- BALLET (1st graders)

Dancers hair must be pulled back and neatly secured in a high bun, complete with pins and hairnet

BALLET LEVEL I (2nd-4th graders)

Dancers hair must be pulled back and neatly secured in a high bun, complete with pins and hairnet

BALLET LEVEL II

Dancers hair must be pulled back and neatly secured in a high bun, complete with pins and hairnet

BALLET III WED + POINTE III WED

Dancers hair must be pulled back and neatly secured in a high bun, complete with pins and hairnet

BALLET III/IV + POINTE III/IV THURS

Dancers hair must be pulled back and neatly secured in a high bun, complete with pins and hairnet

COMPANY BALLET

BALLET TECH + CONDITIONING

For dancers coming from a Ballet class, Ballet attire is acceptable.

For dancers coming from or going into Contemporary, leggings and a form-fitted top are required.
